The library is chock-full of items to enjoy!
We have a variety of books, audiobooks, Blu-ray, DVDs, video games, and area newspapers. We participate in an interlibrary loan program, and are the Russell County Affiliate for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Click here to register >>
Digital Resources
The library offers digital e-books, audiobooks, comic books, TV shows, movies, and music through Libby and Hoopla, and the digital archives of the Russell County News from 2008-2012.

Computers, printing, faxing
We have 10 free public access computers. We do copying, printing, laminating, scanning, and faxing for a fee. We provide a free Wi-Fi hotspot 24/7.
Programs at the library
We offer entertaining, instructional, and fun programs for patrons of all ages throughout the year. In 2022 we began outreach programming with our RPL Book Bike which is available to be brought to area events. Click here for more information >>
Local history collection
Our Kansas collection includes Russell High School yearbooks, books on local genealogy and history, and microfilm of Russell County newspapers from the years 1874 to 2022.
Other cool stuff:
We offer a projector rental, test proctoring by appointment, free meeting room rental by appointment, Xbox gaming, board games, and puzzles for in-library use. If you would like to schedule a time for use of the Meeting Room, please call 785-483-2742 or stop by the library. We currently do not have a notary.
